Are you an experienced automotive Sales Manager looking for your next opportunity?

At Vertu Renault Exeter, we are looking for a driven and commercially focused Used Car Sales Manager to lead our used vehicle sales operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of performance, develop a talented sales team and make a real impact within one of the UK’s leading automotive retail groups.

The Role

As Used Car Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the performance and profitability of our used car department while ensuring our customers receive an outstanding experience.

You Will

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Business Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues
  • Drive used vehicle sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency
  • Coach your team regularly, setting clear expectations and supporting them to achieve their objectives
  • Play an active role in the customer journey, including first and second facing activity
  • Support the sale of finance, GAP insurance and additional products in a compliant and customer-focused way
  • Manage sales campaigns and promotions to maximise opportunities
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service, compliance and ethical selling are maintained

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced automotive Sales Manager with a proven track record of delivering strong commercial results.

You Will Be Able To Demonstrate

  • Previous sales management experience within the motor industry
  • A strong track record of improving sales performance and profitability
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills
  • The ability to create a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A commercial mindset with the drive to deliver results
  • A commitment to operating with integrity and putting customers at the heart of every decision

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
