Used Car Sales Manager - Volkswagen Sheffield
As a Used Car Sales Manager, you'll lead, motivate and develop the Sales team to deliver strong commercial results and an excellent customer experience.
Working closely with the Head of Business, you'll be responsible for driving used vehicle performance, managing stock effectively and supporting the team to achieve their targets.
As Used Car Sales Manager, Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Leading, coaching and developing the Sales team.
- Maximising used vehicle sales volumes and profitability.
- Managing stock levels, vehicle preparation and pricing.
- Driving performance across finance, insurance and associated products.
- Monitoring departmental performance and taking action to achieve targets.
- Ensuring customers receive a consistent high standard of service.
- Supporting the Head of Business with the dealership's wider commercial objectives.
What we’re looking for in a Used Car Sales Manager
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about people leadership and delivering results.
You’ll Ideally Have
- Previous experience managing a successful Sales team.
- A strong understanding of used vehicle sales, stock management and pricing.
- A proven track record of delivering against sales and profitability targets.
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Confident leadership, coaching and communication skills.
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience using digital and e-commerce channels to support vehicle sales.
- A full UK driving licence free from excessive penalties.
