Job Title: Used Car Sales Manager
Salary: Up to 70K
Location: Field Based (Frequent UK Travel, infrequent European travel)
Reporting To: Deputy Director
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
This is a crucial role, outlining and delivering an OEM’s entire used car strategy, being directly responsible for RVs and customer retention figures. You will be moving into an agile, fast paced manufacturer environment, and will be given the autonomy to get to work and bring results from day 1. If you’re looking to make a step forward in your career, and move up to a strategic level, this role would be a great fit for you. This Used Car Sales Manager Role is suited to someone who has worked across several different departments in both OEM, Dealer group and aftermarket environments, and is used to managing key senior stakeholders.

The Role
- Develop and deliver the national used-car strategy, identifying commercial opportunities while supporting wider sales, finance, aftersales and customer retention objectives.
- Own and develop the Approved Used Vehicle programme and relevant budgets, ensuring a competitive customer proposition and consistent operational standards across the network.
- Act as the business lead for used-car strategy, influencing product, pricing and commercial decisions through market insight and RV expertise.
- Drive dealer performance through improved sales, profitability, stock management and customer retention.
- Lead vehicle remarketing and disposal activities, optimising stock performance, disposal efficiency and residual value protection.
- Monitor market trends and residual values, providing insight, forecasting and recommendations to support commercial and pricing decisions.
- Develop and implement the company's used EV strategy, including battery health, customer confidence, remarketing performance and compliance.
- Work with Marketing, Finance and Aftersales teams to strengthen the Approved Used proposition, improve customer retention and optimise online assets and marketplaces.
- Manage key supplier and stakeholder relationships, representing the used-car function internally and externally.

Essential Experience:
- Must have experience in a used car / remarketing environment
- Must have experience contributing directly to used car strategies in an OEM
- Experience working with retailers, auctions, leasing companies or finance providers
