Euro Hire Drive is a vehicle hire company with over 30 years of experience serving a wide range of customer needs. The company offers flexible hire options, including daily, weekly, monthly, and customized Flexi-Hire contracts, providing cost-effective solutions for managing vehicle fleets. Its extensive range of vehicles includes cars, vans, minibuses, tipper trucks, Luton jumbo vans, prestige vehicles, and 4x4s. All vehicles come with 24/7, year-round breakdown service to minimize disruption and keep customers’ operations running smoothly.

Role Description

The Used Car Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Bathgate Area. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end used car sales process, including:

  • Greeting customers
  • Understanding their needs
  • Presenting suitable vehicles
  • Conducting test drives

The specialist will:

  • Prepare and maintain vehicle listings
  • Ensure accurate product information
  • Keep the showroom and forecourt organized and presentable

Daily tasks include:

  • Handling inquiries
  • Preparing quotations
  • Negotiating pricing within company guidelines
  • Supporting finance and documentation processes

The role also involves:

  • Following up with prospects
  • Nurturing long-term relationships
  • Contributing to sales targets and customer retention goals

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Automotive Sales and Sales Consulting skills, with experience in selling used vehicles or related automotive products.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build trust with diverse customers.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Retention skills, including follow-up practices, relationship management, and maintaining a professional, solutions-focused approach.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle features, specifications, and maintenance considerations is beneficial, along with the ability to explain technical details in accessible terms.
  • Proven ability to work toward sales targets, strong organizational skills, and comfort using digital tools (CRM systems, email, and online listing platforms) are preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to conduct safe test drives are required; prior experience in the automotive or fleet hire industry is an advantage.
