HCLTech UAT Manager for Financial Crime Programs

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced UAT Manager to lead User Acceptance Testing activities for Financial Crime programs. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing end-to-end UAT execution across AML, KYC, Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, and Regulatory Compliance initiatives. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with business, operations, technology, and regulatory teams within the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the UAT strategy, plan, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Business Analysts, SMEs, Product Owners, Operations, and Technology teams.
  • Review business requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
  • Lead test scenario and test case design aligned to business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage UAT execution, defect triage, retesting, and closure activities.
  • Track testing progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate daily status meetings and provide executive-level reporting.
  • Ensure all critical defects are resolved before production deployment.
  • Support Go-Live readiness assessments and sign-off processes.
  • Collaborate with Financial Crime SMEs to validate business outcomes and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage senior stakeholders across Business, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams.
  • Present UAT status, risks, and readiness reports to project leadership.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment for issue resolution and sign-off approvals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB, Agile, Scrum, ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent will be advantageous.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience delivering Financial Crime transformation programs within major banking organizations.
  • Exposure to regulatory change initiatives and compliance-driven projects.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
