Job Opportunity: User Acquisition Director
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a User Acquisition Director based in United Kingdom.
This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and scale global user acquisition strategies across multiple high-growth digital products.
You will lead a talented acquisition organization, driving sustainable growth through paid channels while building scalable systems and processes.
The role combines strategic vision with hands-on analytical problem solving, requiring a deep understanding of performance marketing, experimentation, and optimization.
You will influence how acquisition is approached by introducing automation, AI-driven workflows, and innovative growth methodologies.
Working closely with product, analytics, creative, finance, and executive teams, you will transform data insights into impactful business decisions.

Accountabilities
As the User Acquisition Director, you will own the global paid acquisition strategy and lead the development of scalable growth operations. You will be responsible for maximizing acquisition performance, developing high-performing teams, and creating innovative approaches to sustainable user growth.
- Define and execute the long-term user acquisition strategy across multiple products, markets, and paid acquisition channels.
- Lead and develop performance marketing teams across mobile acquisition, paid social, paid search, and programmatic channels.
- Own acquisition performance metrics, making investment decisions based on CPA, LTV, ROAS, incrementality, and long-term business value.
- Build and implement experimentation frameworks covering creatives, bidding strategies, campaign structures, attribution models, measurement approaches, and new channels.
- Drive automation initiatives across campaign management, reporting, analysis, and operational workflows.
- Identify and solve complex growth challenges related to attribution, measurement, scalability, and marketing efficiency.
- Partner with Product, Business Intelligence, Creative, MarTech, Finance, and leadership teams to align acquisition strategies with company objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, advertising platforms, AI capabilities, and industry trends to maintain a competitive growth advantage.
- Establish operational best practices, processes, and systems that enable acquisition teams to scale effectively.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced performance marketing leader with a strong background in global user acquisition, team management, and data-driven growth strategies. You should combine strategic leadership with the ability to dive into performance data and solve complex operational challenges.
- 8+ years of experience in Performance Marketing, User Acquisition, or similar growth-focused roles.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-channel acquisition programs across Mobile, Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams and senior specialists.
- Strong understanding of attribution, incrementality testing, experimentation, bidding systems, measurement frameworks, and LTV-based optimization.
- Commercial mindset with experience managing significant acquisition budgets and optimizing marketing investments.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business decisions.
- Experience building scalable marketing processes, automation frameworks, and operational systems.
- Ability to operate effectively between executive-level strategy and hands-on problem solving.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Experience in web and app acquisition, gaming, betting, fintech, or other high-growth digital industries is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with marketing technology, AI tools, automation platforms, and collaboration with engineering teams is a plus.
