UX/UI Designer – Contract (Outside IR35)
Ad-hoc, September | Up to £375/day | Fully Remote (UK)
Our client is a small, fast-paced, and flexible consultancy looking for a quality, experienced, and self-sufficient designer to join them on an ad-hoc basis throughout September. This is an outside IR35 contract, with work spread across the month. Ideal for someone who can flex around existing commitments while delivering high-quality output with minimal oversight.

About the role
You'll be working within an existing design system, so this isn't about building UI patterns from scratch, you'll be applying strong UX thinking within established constraints. You'll take rough concepts and wireframes through to high-fidelity, polished designs, with UX craft being the priority over pure visual design.

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, comfortable working independently with little ramp-up time
- Strong UX fundamentals — this role leans more UX than UI
- Confidence working within an existing design system, maintaining consistency while solving real user problems
- Ability to take rough concepts and wireframes to high-fidelity designs
- App design experience
- Available for ad-hoc engagement across September, starting next week or the week after
