Are you a UI/UX Designer who enjoys taking a brief, understanding the problem and turning it into an intuitive, well-considered digital experience?
We're working with a growing technology business looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join its Product team and help shape and improve consumer-facing digital experiences.
This is a hands-on UI/UX DESIGN role - NOT a Product Owner position.
You will not be responsible for owning or managing your own products. Instead, you’ll be given briefs and use your UI/UX expertise to develop the right design solutions - from user journeys, flows and wireframes through to prototypes and polished UI.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Taking design briefs from concept through to delivery
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and polished UI designs
- Presenting designs and thinking to key stakeholders
- Clearly explaining and confidently justifying your design decisions
- Thinking critically about existing products and identifying ways to improve the user experience
- Acting as a bridge between Product, Development and Marketing
- Designing intuitive experiences across web and mobile
- Using customer insight, feedback and behaviour to inform design decisions
- Championing accessibility, usability and user-centred design

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Ideally, you’ll be a mid-level UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio that shows not only great design, but how you think and solve problems - your brief, approach, user journey, design decisions and final outcome. You’ll be confident across Figma, UI/UX Design, User-Centred Design, Interaction Design, Journey Mapping, Wireframing, Prototyping, Information Architecture and Responsive Design, with strong stakeholder communication skills. Experience within SaaS, LegalTech, PropTech or FinTech would be particularly interesting, as would experience with consumer-facing or B2B2C digital products.

LOCATION IS IMPORTANT
The main office is in Leeds, with regular monthly travel to Southport, so I’m particularly interested in designers based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire or locations offering a realistic commute to both Leeds and Southport. Hybrid working opportunities are available following probation.
