Position Summary
OneView Commerce is looking for a Lead User Experience Designer. As the Lead UX Designer, you will collaborate with the Product Team, Product Delivery, and other internal stakeholders to deliver design solutions that meet the requirements of our customers and the market. You will understand the needs of our product stakeholders and develop and iterate on your designs to execute the vision. UX design at OneView Commerce is a valued part of the business, and we always put the user first. Our designers are part of the vision of the product before it is built, not after.

Responsibilities
- Own the design process end to end for features and products in collaboration with the Product and Scrum teams.
- Create wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using OneView design guidelines.
- Partner and iterate with internal and external stakeholders to learn more about our users and ensure their needs are met.
- Closely collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical capabilities and constraints.
- Participate in Scrum meetings to represent the user, articulate design rationale, and help ship quality increments.
- Continuously iterate on user experience based on quantitative and qualitative feedback from internal and external users.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years designing for transactional systems used under time pressure (POS, kiosks, call centre, or similar).
- Understanding of design patterns and visual design systems (Material Design is preferred).
- Experience conducting usability studies, moderating sessions, and communicating insights.
- Strong React-aware design fluency. Understands how a Figma component becomes a React component.
- Accessibility expertise (WCAG 2.2 AA minimum) and experience designing for older users and varied IT confidence.
- Comfort with both research and execution. Can run a postmaster site visit and produce production-ready screens in the same week.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Portfolio demonstrating your solution to a complex problem.
- Has shipped a design system and maintained it.
- Experience using AI image and component generation tools for first-draft layouts.
- Has integrated AI into their personal design workflow and can demonstrate the improved efficiency.
