About the role

We’re seeking a Researcher to deliver research using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, supporting both tactical and strategic projects across multiple squads—all while maintaining high standards.

You’ll support discovery research and lead validation testing, collaborating closely with stakeholders to design studies that showcase the value of a user-centred, data-driven approach to problem-solving. Your actionable insights will empower product teams and stakeholders to improve client outcomes and drive organisational success.

You’ll also champion collaboration, adhere to best practices and governance, and contribute to the growth and development of the wider research team—helping to build a positive, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality mixed-method research (quantitative and qualitative) to support tactical and strategic initiatives across multiple squads, maintaining strong methodological standards and governance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape and conduct discovery and evaluative research, including validation testing, championing a user-centred, insight-led approach to problem-solving.
  • Support CX measurement activities (NPS, CSAT, Net Ease), helping translate insights into clear, actionable improvements that empower product teams and stakeholders to improve client outcomes.
  • Synthesize insights into compelling narratives that inform decisions and drive organisational success, while championing collaboration, best practice, and contributing to a high-performing, positive research culture.

What you’ll be doing

  • Planning and executing research studies across a range of research methods including usability testing, interviews, and workshops
  • Conducting quantitative analysis, through surveys, A/B testing, and data and analytics tools to uncover trends, measure usability, and validate hypotheses
  • Collaborating with senior researchers on broader programs of work, aligning studies to business objectives
  • Analysing and synthesising data into clear, actionable findings
  • Working closely with designers and product managers to iterate based on client feedback
  • Presenting insights and data through concise storytelling, adapted for relevant audiences
  • Helping build and maintain research artifacts including personas, playbooks and insight repositories
  • Actively contributing to team ceremonies and research ops initiatives
  • Design and deliver mixed-method research, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, A/B testing, and workshops, to generate well-rounded insights.
  • Develop strong surveys and discussion guides, applying statistical and qualitative analysis to uncover drivers of client behaviour and experience.
  • Support and improve CX measurement programmes (NPS, CSAT, Net Ease), spotting trends and themes that highlight opportunities and risks.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations, working with designers and product managers to iterate based on client feedback.
  • Synthesize data and feedback into compelling, insight-led stories tailored to different stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior researchers to align studies to broader business objectives.
  • Help build and maintain research artifacts, including personas, playbooks, and insight repositories.
  • Uphold high standards of data quality, governance, and research practice, while contributing to team ceremonies and research ops.
  • Leverage AI and LLM tools to improve research efficiency, from synthesis and analysis to planning, while maintaining methodological rigour.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
