Your new role

We're looking for an experienced User Researcher to join a multidisciplinary User Centred Design team, working on the development and improvement of important public facing digital services.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of user research across both new and existing services, turning customer feedback and research into actionable insight that directly influences service design and delivery.

You'll work alongside user researchers, service and interaction designers, digital specialists, operational teams, and subject matter experts, ensuring the voice of the user is at the heart of decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit research participants and prepare research plans, discussion guides, and supporting materials
  • Moderate user research sessions using a range of qualitative research techniques
  • Collate and analyse user feedback, identifying themes, behaviours, and opportunities for improvement
  • Turn research findings and data into clear, actionable insights
  • Present findings to stakeholders and help teams develop a deeper understanding of users and their needs
  • Work closely with service designers, digital teams, and service owners throughout the design and delivery lifecycle
  • Ensure user needs and customer insight are represented throughout service design and decision making
  • Support journey mapping, co-design, prototyping, and usability testing activities
  • Champion User Centred Design principles and help build UCD capability across the wider organisation
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing services based on research, feedback, and customer insight

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
