Are you passionate about uncovering the real human stories behind complex digital experiences?

RMG, a dedicated technology recruiting agency, is looking for a thoughtful and collaborative User Researcher to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy team based in London.

Operating in a hybrid setup (three days a week on-site in the office), you will partner with a talented group of strategists, designers, and engineers to transform how people interact with critical services.

In this role, you will champion user-centred thinking across a diverse portfolio of meaningful digital products. From refining intuitive customer journeys to redesigning essential public-facing services, your insights will directly influence project direction and product strategy. If you thrive in multidisciplinary environments and love turning rich user findings into actionable recommendations, this is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Research: Plan, recruit, conduct, and analyse generative and evaluative research studies using methods such as usability testing, in-depth interviews, surveys, and diary studies.
  • Translate Insights: Synthesise complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear, compelling narratives, actionable user needs, and strategic recommendations.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with UX and service designers, developers, and product managers to ensure user needs are integrated alongside technical and commercial priorities.
  • Facilitate Engagement: Lead collaborative workshops, research playbacks, and knowledge-sharing sessions for diverse project teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Project Ownership: Take ownership of dedicated research workstreams on targeted projects while contributing to wider, strategic programmes and continuous team best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
