User Researcher
Salary: £38,500–£47,000 per year
Location: London
Working Arrangement: Office, client-site and home working; at least 2 days per week on-site, depending on client requirements
Overview
Our client, a digital services consultancy, is looking for a User Researcher to plan and deliver qualitative and quantitative research that informs user-centred services.
You’ll work within Agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside designers, product owners and developers, using research evidence to shape services, test designs and help stakeholders make informed decisions. This intermediate-level role offers scope to further develop both your user research expertise and consulting skills.
Candidates should be flexible to travel and work from an office or client site for at least two days per week, depending on client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver user research to support product and service design.
- Select appropriate research methods for different stages of the service lifecycle.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs and behaviours.
- Support usability testing and evaluation sessions.
- Collect and analyse research data, producing clear reports and actionable insights.
- Present findings, customer insights and design or business recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Agile, multidisciplinary teams within a user-centred design process.
- Facilitate workshops and share user research best practice with colleagues.

Requirements
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of user-centred design principles and practices.
- Ability to understand strategic objectives and connect research insights to them.
- Ability to communicate research findings clearly and respond constructively to stakeholder challenge.
