AJ Chambers is working with an established, London based Tax & Accountancy firm to connect a US/UK Tax Manager with their next opportunity.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients with UK and US tax exposure, while contributing to the technical and commercial growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, delegating work to junior team members and escalating to senior stakeholders where appropriate
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of assignments, ensuring work is completed efficiently and in line with internal standards prior to review
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant UK and US tax legislation and apply this in a practical, client-focused context
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and support in resolving complex tax issues
  • Contribute to internal technical development, including sharing knowledge and preparing technical materials where required
  • Support business development activities, including involvement in client proposals and pitches
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, monitoring performance and supporting their progression
  • Take responsibility for the quality and consistency of team output, ensuring high service standards are maintained

Skills and Experience:

  • Dual-qualified in UK and US tax (e.g. ATT/CTA and Enrolled Agent or equivalent)
  • Proven experience preparing, reviewing, and filing both UK and US personal tax returns
  • Strong understanding of cross-border tax considerations affecting individuals
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing team members
  • Proficient in the use of relevant tax software and MS Office tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly
