US/UK Tax Manager

Specialist international tax team seeking a Tax Manager to manage a portfolio of US/UK private clients and internationally mobile individuals, delivering both compliance and advisory services within a collaborative cross-border tax environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of US/UK tax clients, including expatriates and internationally mobile individuals
  • Oversee preparation, review, and filing of UK and US tax returns
  • Delegate work to junior team members and review outputs to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Provide technical guidance on complex US/UK tax matters
  • Support Directors and Partners on advisory projects and client engagements
  • Mentor and develop junior staff through coaching and technical support
  • Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and team development initiatives
  • Assist with business development activities and client presentations where required
  • Ensure assignments are delivered efficiently and in line with professional standards

Skills & Experience

  • Dual US/UK tax qualifications (e.g. Enrolled Agent, ATT or equivalent)
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewing UK and US tax returns
  • Technical knowledge of cross-border personal tax matters
  • Experience managing client relationships and multiple engagements
  • Previous coaching, mentoring, or team management experience
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with UK and US tax software and MS Office
  • Collaborative, proactive, and client-focused approach
