The role
As a US/UK Tax Manager you will be expected to manage a comprehensive client portfolio, provide line management to junior staff members and make a significant contribution to the operational success of Blick Rothenberg through active participation in the management of the wider team. You will contribute directly to the achievement of performance targets, and help deliver the aims and objectives of the business. Within the Trust and Family Wealth team, you will have the expertise and sensitivity to advise US connected clients who have income and assets held in trusts and estates. Ideally, you will already be operating at a manager level, or close to promotion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the team including department work planning, delivering appraisals and developing more junior team members on both technical matters and client management skills.
Dual qualifications such as an EA/ATT/CTA/STEP are essential for this role. Exceptional candidates who are qualified in either the US or the UK may be considered. We provide support for individuals to meet their CPD requirements, with a year-round training programme. We provide mentorship by the senior management team to develop further your soft skills including client and staff management. Personal coaching will also be available as your career continues. This is tailored to your individual aspirations and can help you plot your route to Director/Partner if appropriate.
