We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated US/UK Tax Senior Manager to join our growing US tax team.
About the Role
The role involves managing a large and varied portfolio of clients, overseeing the delivery of complex US and UK tax compliance work and providing strategic advisory support.
You will lead client relationships, ensuring delivery to a high standard, managing expectations and providing clear, practical advice. You will also take responsibility for developing junior team members and contributing to the ongoing growth of the US practice.
Senior Manager Responsibilities
- Play a central role in leading a varied and interesting portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for both the day-to-day delivery of work and the wider client relationship.
- Overseeing billing across your portfolio, identifying opportunities to provide additional support where appropriate.
- Working closely with Partners and Directors to shape and deliver advisory projects.
- Ensure that all work is completed to a consistently high standard, in line with our internal quality and risk management procedures.
- Building strong relationships with intermediaries and professional advisers.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with significant experience in US/UK private client tax who combines strong technical expertise with a genuine ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Comfortable managing complex matters, communicating clearly and confidently, and balancing attention to detail with a commercial mindset.
- Enjoy supporting and developing junior team members, helping them grow while contributing positively to the wider culture of the team.
- Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and excellent organisation will all be important in this role.

Requirements
To be considered for this position,
- You will be ATT or CTA qualified and hold either an EA or CPA qualification.
- You should have strong experience managing a client portfolio, with a background covering both compliance and advisory work.
- Experience leading and supporting team members.
We are looking for someone who can combine technical strength with a practical, client-focused approach and who is ready to take on a senior role with real responsibility.
Desirable
Additional experience in areas such as US trusts and estates or Form 5471 would be particularly valuable, although these are not essential.
