Role Description
The Utilities Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Leicester Area within the Key Client Management Team. This role manages a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as a primary point of contact for their utilities and waste management needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Reviewing client usage and contracts
- Identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
- Coordinating with suppliers to secure competitive tariffs and service agreements
- Preparing proposals and reports
- Tracking performance against client objectives
- Ensuring accurate documentation and billing
- Resolving service issues
- Supporting clients through contract renewals and regulatory changes
- Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and client experience

Qualifications
- Strong account management and client relationship skills, with experience handling commercial customer portfolios.
- Applied knowledge of utilities, waste management, or energy services, including billing, tariff structures, and contract management.
- Analytical and numerical skills to interpret usage data, identify trends, and present clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Organisational and time-management abilities to prioritize multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM tools, reporting systems) and comfort working with data and documentation.
- Experience in B2B environments, ideally within utilities, energy, or related consultancy services.
- Commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality service and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
