Are you organised, commercially aware and confident working with numbers, people and competing priorities?

We are looking for a proactive Utilities Coordinator to join our team. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys solving problems, coordinating activity and making sure queries are followed through to resolution. You don`t need previous housing or utilities experience. If you have a finance background, or strong administration and coordination experience, we want to hear from you.

Job title: Utilities Coordinator

Location: Birmingham | Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office

Salary: £25,000-£28,000

What will you be doing?

As a Utilities Coordinator, youll be a key point of contact for brokers, external suppliers and internal stakeholders, including electrical and housing teams. Youll help keep things moving by:

  • Investigating and resolving queries from brokers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Arranging site visits for engineers
  • Managing invoicing queries and checking information is accurate
  • Coding invoices correctly
  • Coordinating electrical team reconnections
  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of utility services
  • Keeping stakeholders updated and ensuring issues are followed through to completion
  • Working with different teams and adapting your communication style to suit your audience

What are we looking for?

We`re looking for someone who is organised, practical and confident dealing with people at all levels.

You`ll ideally have:

  • Finance experience or strong administration and coordination experience
  • Good Excel skills, including experience using pivot tables
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your language when speaking with different stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to investigate issues, identify solutions and take ownership
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to work independently
