Role Description
The Utilities Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting operational activities related to utilities and basic facility processes. Daily tasks may include:
- Monitoring utility usage
- Documenting basic data
- Coordinating with team members to ensure resources are used efficiently

The role involves clear communication with internal and external stakeholders and may include assisting with training materials or guidance related to utilities or basic operational procedures. Depending on project needs, the Utilities Specialist may also support tasks connected to inventory, logistics, or simple equipment workflows within the organization’s remote framework.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of utilities or facility-related processes and the ability to understand basic operational requirements
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to share information clearly and collaborate effectively with remote teams
- Experience with forklift operation or similar equipment is beneficial for understanding logistics and material handling workflows
- Background in training, coaching, or supporting others in learning operational or procedural tasks
- Exposure to the food & beverage environment or related industries is helpful for understanding resource and utility needs
- Comfort with remote work tools, basic computer skills, and reliable internet access
- Ability to work independently, manage part-time hours responsibly, and adapt to changing priorities
- Prior experience in operations, facilities, logistics, or a related field is a plus, though not required
