🚨 WE’RE HIRING: UTILITY SURVEYOR 🚨

📍 Location: We have roles based all over the UK, happy to chat to your requirements
💼 Contract: Permanent
💰 Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Vehicle + Benefits

Are you an experienced Utility Surveyor looking for your next opportunity?

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Utility Surveyor to join our growing survey team, working across a diverse range of projects and sectors.

You’ll work alongside Surveying Managers and Project Managers, delivering high-quality utility and topographical surveys while using industry-leading surveying techniques and equipment.

🔎 What you’ll be doing

  • Undertaking utility and/or topographical surveys
  • Locating underground utilities using Electromagnetic Locators and GPR
  • Carrying out manhole lifting, observations and measurements
  • Using Total Station and GPS/GNSS equipment
  • Producing utility survey drawings and reports
  • Producing CAD drawings from survey data
  • Post-processing GPR data
  • Maintaining and managing survey equipment
  • Supporting QA/QC compliance and company standards
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges on site
  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced team members
  • Contributing to the continued development of the survey department

👷 What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Utility Surveyor
  • Experience with GPR and electromagnetic locating techniques
  • Experience using CAD software
  • Understanding of PAS 128 standards
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A surveying-related qualification would be advantageous
  • Topographical surveying experience is desirable, but not essential
  • A flexible approach to travel and working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach
