THE COMPANY

Established in 1998, JSM Group designs and installs the power networks, digital infrastructure and specialist systems that critical industries run on, from high-power grid connections and data centres to renewable energy. Our turnkey teams deliver complex infrastructure at speed, on time, and with reduced legislative, technical and commercial risk.

THE TEAM

JSM Group is a leading utilities infrastructure provider delivering complex digital infrastructure and civils projects across the UK. As part of our continued growth, we're on the lookout for an organised, and proactive Utility Drawings Administrator to support the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to support the business in aligning with NRSWA 1991 regulations and HSG47 Guidance. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a positive company image by providing vital administrative support to the Operational and Planning Teams.

Your primary responsibility will be generating and managing required utility drawings (Stats), alongside assisting with broader duties within the communications team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
