We're looking for reliable, hard-working Utility Operatives to join our Water & Gas Team. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance and connection of water and gas networks on residential developments. Working as part of a skilled team, you'll help deliver essential utility infrastructure safely, efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring excellent service for our customers and clients. As a Utility Operative, you'll support the installation and maintenance of both water and gas networks across a variety of sites, working alongside experienced team members to carry out essential utility connection works and ensuring all tasks are completed safely, professionally and in line with industry standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out water and gas installation works, including mains and service connections.
• Assist with the safe construction, maintenance and repair of utility networks.
• Undertake excavation, pipe laying, reinstatement and associated groundwork activities.
• Work in accordance with site plans, job specifications and company procedures.
• Operate tools, equipment and plant safely and effectively.
• Comply with health, safety, environmental and quality standards at all times.
• Attend toolbox talks, training sessions and competency updates as required.
• Accurately record details of work completed and report any issues or incidents.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, residents, colleagues and site teams.
• Represent the company positively and contribute to delivering an excellent customer experience.
