Utility Operator (WATER)
Full-time union position responsible for maintaining and repairing city infrastructure, including water, sewer, streets, and public works systems. Duties include operating light and heavy equipment, performing maintenance and construction work, responding to utility emergencies (such as water main breaks and sewer backups), and assisting with street and facility upkeep. May work independently or as part of a small crew and occasionally serve as a construction inspector on public works projects. The position offers full benefits and an hourly base rate of $31.82 (higher rates for S license) per hour.
