Utility Surveyor (Geospatial)

Wakefield (Site Based)

£38,500 - £42,500 + Progression + Company Benefits + Training Provided + Van + Laptop + Pension + Fuel card

Are you a Utility Surveyor or similar seeking a role where you will progress your career and implement your skills / knowledge onto multi million pound projects? This company is a leading geospatial and ground investigation consultancy delivering accurate survey data, underground utility mapping, and site investigation for construction, infrastructure, and property development projects across the UK.

This Role:

  • Implementing drainage and topographical survey techniques and equipment
  • Log spatial coordinates of surface features, inspection covers, and traced utility lines using GNSS or total stations
  • Produce compliant utility maps (such as PAS 128 standards) showing asset types, depths, and positional quality levels.
  • Analyse GPR radargrams and merge sensor paths with topographical data.
  • Occasional stay aways and weekends

The Person:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Based in or around Wakefield
