At IRIS Software Group, we're trusted by thousands of businesses, accountants, educators, and organisations to deliver mission-critical software solutions. As we continue to evolve our Accountancy portfolio, we're looking for a passionate Junior UX Designer to join our growing Product team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their UX career who wants to make a real impact while learning from experienced professionals in an established design community.
What you'll do
Working As Part Of a Collaborative Product Team, You'll Help Create Seamless Digital Experiences Used By Accounting Professionals Across The UK. You'll Be Involved In
- Designing user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Supporting user research and usability testing
- Turning customer insights into practical design solutions
- Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA teams
- Contributing to design systems and accessibility best practices
- Helping improve customer experiences across multiple products

What we're looking for
We're interested in people who are passionate about UX and eager to learn. You'll ideally bring:
Essential
- Understanding of UX design principles and user-centred design
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset
- A passion for creating exceptional user experiences
Nice to have
- Experience with user research or usability testing
- Knowledge of accessibility and WCAG guidelines
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Exposure to design systems
- An online portfolio showcasing your work
- An interest in business, finance, or software products
