About Us

Lighthouse Games is a new AAA studio in Leamington Spa. We are defined by our pedigree of talent and serious ambition to build a new best-in-class game. When you join us at Lighthouse, you will be able to create the best work of your career in an environment that feels truly collaborative. You will learn from the best and work alongside the future greats of the gaming industry.

We’re building something ambitious, and we’re looking for a talented UX Designer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and help shape the player experience of our next-generation game.

Role Overview

As a UX Designer, you’ll play a key role in designing intuitive, engaging and visually compelling user experiences across the game. You’ll be responsible for understanding player needs, developing user flows and creating interfaces that are both functional and enjoyable to use.

Working closely with our Design, Art, UI and Engineering teams, you’ll take ideas from early concepts and wireframes through to polished, fully implemented game-ready experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how players interact with the game and help establish a consistent, intuitive approach to UI/UX across the project.

This is a hands-on role where your creative thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and understanding of player-focused design will have a direct impact on the final game.

What You'll Be Doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
