Working with a global financial services organisation who are looking for a UX Designer to lead the end-to-end redesign of product platforms

The UX Designer will play a critical role in understanding user needs, conducting research, facilitating discovery workshops, and designing intuitive, user-centred experiences that enhance usability, customer satisfaction, and product adoption across both platforms.

This role requires close collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Business Operations, and clients to define and deliver innovative user experiences driven by customer insights and best-practice design principles.

Details

  • Location - London Hybrid - 3 days / week in office
  • Duration - Initially 6 months
  • Rate - £500-£600 / day Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct user research using both qualitative and quantitative methods to gather actionable insights.
  • Proven experience using Figma for wire framing, prototyping, UI design, and design system management.
  • Strong experience designing and contributing to the development of websites and web applications.
  • Facilitate customer interviews, workshops, and contextual enquiries to identify user needs and pain points.
  • Create user journeys, process maps, and user flows to define optimal experiences.
  • Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions with clients and end users.
  • Iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, research findings, and business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are feasible and aligned with product objectives.
  • Produce development-ready designs, specifications, and assets to support successful implementation.
