About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Expert (Multidisciplinary) to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position offers flexibility with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week and an hourly rate ranging from $15 to $40, depending on experience and expertise. As a Design Expert, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and refining design content, particularly focusing on visual and UX/UI elements within AI-generated materials. Your insights will help enhance the quality, usability, and aesthetic appeal of our digital outputs, ensuring they meet modern design standards and user expectations.

This role involves collaborating closely with AI training teams to align design outputs with industry best practices, contributing to the ongoing development of AI tools through your deep design knowledge. You will be responsible for providing actionable feedback, assessing the effectiveness of layouts, visual hierarchy, and overall user experience, and ensuring branding consistency across all materials. Your expertise will directly influence the quality and impact of our digital products and services, making a tangible difference in how our clients and end-users interact with technology.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of multidisciplinary design experience demonstrated through a strong portfolio. You should have a comprehensive understanding of typography, layout, and core visual design principles. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) is essential. Additionally, experience in wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design processes is required to effectively evaluate and improve digital interfaces. Candidates should also have expertise in developing branding and visual identity elements, ensuring consistency and coherence across various design assets. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, review, and refine design interview content, focusing on visual and UX/UI elements to ensure quality and usability.
  • Assess AI-generated materials for adherence to modern design principles, usability standards, and aesthetic quality.
  • Provide detailed, actionable feedback to optimize layout structures, visual hierarchy, and overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with AI training teams to ensure design outputs are aligned with industry standards and evolving trends.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI tools by applying your deep understanding of design principles to real-world scenarios.
  • Champion user-centered design thinking, ensuring all evaluated materials prioritize user needs and preferences.
  • Maintain branding consistency across all design evaluations and recommendations.
  • Stay updated on current design trends and incorporate best practices into your evaluations and feedback.
