About The Role
We are currently seeking a talented UX/UI Designer for a 3-month contract based in Manchester, with a hybrid working model. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of a key discovery project. Your creative insights and human-centered design approach will ensure the development of intuitive, accessible, and brand-compliant interfaces. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful digital solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance your portfolio with innovative design work.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in UX/UI design, with proven experience in developing complex digital applications. A compelling portfolio demonstrating innovative design solutions is essential. Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma is required, along with excellent research skills to analyze user feedback and translate it into effective design strategies. Candidates should have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are also important.

Responsibilities
As a UX/UI Designer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Conduct User Research: Engage with users through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gain insights into their needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and fellow Designers to ensure cohesive and user-friendly experiences across all digital touchpoints.
- Iterate and Improve: Incorporate feedback from testing and stakeholder reviews to refine designs, ensuring optimal usability and aesthetic appeal.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.
