Senior UX/UI Designer
Location: London | Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office
The Role
We’re looking for a strategic, technically proficient and data-informed Senior UX/UI Designer to join a growing digital UX/UI team within a leading international e-commerce business. You’ll be responsible for delivering research-led UX/UI solutions that directly support commercial objectives across customer acquisition, conversion and retention. The role will involve defining and optimising user journeys across multiple brands, websites and European markets. You’ll improve existing digital experiences through continuous experimentation and A/B testing, while also helping shape new features aligned with wider business and technology roadmaps. Working closely with front-end and back-end developers, Product Owners, Analysts and Research teams, you’ll operate within Agile sprint cycles to deliver iterative solutions grounded in user insight, data and performance. A strong understanding of Next.js, HTML, CSS and scalable design frameworks is important to ensure designs translate effectively into front-end delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype and validate optimised user journeys across multiple brands and markets.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives using research, analytics and performance data to continuously improve digital experiences.
- Champion UX best practice throughout the digital product lifecycle.
- Work closely with Business, Technology and Content teams to translate requirements into actionable design work.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery, identifying risks and blockers and helping keep projects on track.
- Collaborate closely with developers and Product teams within Agile sprint environments.
- Provide UX expertise and testing support across CMS and wider platform migrations.
- Maintain and develop scalable UX and design frameworks that improve consistency and efficiency.
- Produce high-quality low- and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, with responsive design and accessibility embedded from the outset.
- Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, ideation and wireframe validation.
- Translate customer and market insight into design decisions that improve conversion, engagement and revenue.
- Ensure accessibility, localisation and cross-market usability are considered across all design outputs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
