Freelance Mobile UX Designer (Therabody)

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a freelance Mobile UX Designer to craft intuitive, engaging experiences for the Therabody consumer app. You’ll design critical features—from onboarding and device pairing to guided routines, progress tracking, and personalisation—bridging our physical and digital products.

This role is hands-on, collaborative, and execution-focused. You’ll partner with product, engineering, data science, and brand teams to deliver app experiences that foster user engagement and integrate recovery into daily life.

What You’ll Do

  • Concept and design mobile app experiences, including:
    • Onboarding flows
    • Device pairing
    • Guided routines
    • Progress tracking
    • Personalisation features
  • Deliver core UX artifacts:
    • User flows
    • Wireframes
    • Interactive prototypes
    • High-fidelity iOS and Android UI designs
  • Translate product requirements and user insights into clean, functional designs rooted in mobile UX best practices
  • Work with data teams to analyse user behavior, identify friction points, and optimise for engagement and retention
  • Ensure visual consistency across the app by adhering to Therabody’s brand guidelines and mobile design system
  • Collaborate with mobile engineers to:
    • Hand off designs collaboratively
    • Address platform-specific constraints (Bluetooth pairing, real-time data handling, etc.)
  • Develop design variants for A/B testing to improve key app metrics
  • Participate in user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to refine designs based on real-world feedback

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
