Brand & Venue Marketing Lead

Location: South Kensington (Hybrid)
Salary: £60–65k

Lead the transformation of marketing across one of the world's great cultural institutions.

The V&A, is redesigning its Marketing & Insight function from the ground up. They’re moving from a traditional campaign-led model towards an audience-first, commercially accountable marketing organisation that connects millions of people with extraordinary cultural experiences. We're helping them hire the person who wants to lead that transformation.

The Opportunity

  • You'll lead Brand & Venue Marketing across the V&A family of museums, helping shape how one of the world's most recognised cultural brands engages audiences today and for years to come.
  • This isn't simply about delivering campaigns. It's about creating a marketing function that is strategically driven, commercially focused, and audience-centric.
  • You'll build the systems, culture, and leadership that enable brilliant marketing to happen consistently.
  • You'll inherit a talented team, but more importantly, you'll help shape what that team becomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'll Do

  • You'll lead marketing across five museums, overseeing venue marketing, exhibitions, partnerships, agencies, and brand development.
  • Working alongside colleagues across Audience Insight, Customer Growth, Digital, CRM, and Commercial, you'll establish clear priorities, strengthen planning, improve measurement, and create a culture where marketing owns business outcomes, not simply campaign delivery.

Who We're Looking For

  • You may come from visitor attractions, entertainment, retail, hospitality, travel, sport, or another consumer-facing organisation - as long as you have experience driving ticket sales or visitor growth.
  • What's more important is that you've built high-performing marketing teams, delivered commercial results, and enjoy creating clarity where others see complexity.
