Edinburgh Imaging Manager
As Centre Manager, you will manage a multidisciplinary team of professional services staff delivering excellent administrative, financial, HR and scanning support to over 70 Edinburgh Imaging staff, a range of Principal Investigators (clinical and scientific) and a wide range of over 200 Principal Investigators and other associated academic and commercial business partners, at a world-renowned facility for clinical imaging research excellence.
Edinburgh Imaging regularly runs over 100 clinical research projects, commercial research and clinical service in a typical year, and the post-holder will aid in managing these services across our facilities. This will involve direct management of the on-site cyclotron and GMP radiochemistry facilities delivering research radiotracers to national Whole Body PET Imaging facility and Scotland’s only PETMRI scanner.

The post-holder will oversee the day-to-day running of Edinburgh Imaging (across two facilities, in the QMRI and RIE buildings), with responsibility for the management of support staff, operational expenditure, space allocation and capacity management.
The post-holder will independently implement, manage, and adapt service delivery to the highest possible professional standard to best support the Edinburgh Imaging Directors. You will take a key role in senior managerial meetings across the campus, Deanery and College; contributing to implementation of changes in policy and practices to address legislative and organisational need at the University of Edinburgh.
