Vacancy Manager | Permanent Recruitment
Location: Cardiff
Salary: Up to £30,000 + commission + benefits
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our live permanent vacancies and build strong relationships with the clients behind them.
You’ll manage roles from the initial brief through to placement, keeping candidates and clients engaged along the way. You’ll also look after a portfolio of clients, spot new hiring needs and bring fresh vacancies into the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both delivering on a brief and developing the account.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing permanent vacancies from client brief to offer and placement
- Building and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of clients
- Speaking with clients regularly to understand their hiring plans and secure new roles
- Sourcing, screening and shortlisting candidates
- Keeping clients updated with honest feedback and clear progress on their vacancies
- Working with the wider team on roles that need additional sourcing support
- Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and keeping each recruitment process moving

What we’re looking for
- Experience recruiting for permanent roles, ideally in an agency environment
- The confidence to manage client relationships and ask for new business
- A track record of filling vacancies and managing several roles at once
- Strong candidate sourcing and screening skills
- Good working knowledge of a CRM or ATS, job boards, Excel and Microsoft Office
- An organised, practical approach and the drive to follow things through
