This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading preclinical imaging team based at the BioQuarter site at the University of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of translational researchers working at the forefront of imaging technologies.
The Opportunity
- To provide strategic leadership and operational management of the preclinical MRI facility to maintain its position as a world-leading centre
- To provide a state-of-the-art in vivo imaging service to all researchers within the University of Edinburgh and external bodies
- To constantly innovate the MRI imaging protocols available to research users of the facility
- To lead on MRI preclinical research studies, grant applications, and publications
- To ensure an efficient and financially sustainable preclinical MRI facility
- To disseminate information to users (through seminars, lectures, EPI website, and email bulletins) on EPI across the University

This post is full-time, open-ended (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
