This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy that will close in 14 days at 23:59 BST.
Job Description

- Contract: Flexible Hours Contract
- Working Pattern: Hours between 07:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday (Min of 10 hours per month)
- On Call/Out of Hours Rota

The Opportunity
Based at Chris White Funeral Directors - Salisbury, our Funeral Service Operatives are calm, professional and play a vital role in our service. They are often the first members of the team to meet our families. A good Funeral Service Operative will be able to provide reassurance to families that we will take good care of their loved ones whilst we prepare them for their final journey.
In addition to bringing people's loved ones into our care, Funeral Service Operatives play an active role behind the scenes, working in the mortuary, fitting coffins, and dressing the deceased; as well as participating in funeral services, pallbearing, and helping to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Your duties will include driving company vehicles, so you'll need a full UK manual driving licence.
Being a Funeral Service Operative can be challenging and rewarding, and no two days are quite the same. There is a chance to progress into other roles such as Funeral Director, with the right skills and determination. To learn more about this important role, go to our Careers page.

You will be contracted to work a minimum of 10 hours per month. Additional hours will be offered flexibly in line with business needs, meaning your total monthly hours may vary. For example, you may work 40 hours in one month and fewer hours in another.
These hours may include on-call duties and out-of-hours work, depending on business requirements. Additional payments apply.
