RESORT: Pine Lake Resort

LOCATION: Carnforth, LA6 1JZ

HOURS: 40 per week

SALARY: £11.89 - £12.71 per hour

Are you looking for a unique and exciting opportunity in the hospitality industry? Look no further! We are seeking a Valet to join our team at Pine Lake. With a flexible working pattern and a range of incredible benefits, this is a role that offers endless opportunities for growth and success.

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Housekeeping and work closely with our dedicated team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the resort. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Removing bags containing dirty linen and rubbish, ensuring a pristine and inviting environment for our guests
  • Stocking up, organising, and maintaining store rooms, guaranteeing that all supplies are readily available
  • Using the department buggy for efficient and effective transportation of items throughout the resort
  • Washing and drying cleaning cloths, ensuring an ample supply for the team's needs
  • Rotating lost property at the end of each month, ensuring a systematic approach to guest belongings
  • Properly segregating recycling materials to the appropriate areas, contributing to our commitment to sustainability
  • Assisting the team with cleaning accommodations, creating a flawless and inviting environment for our guests

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, showcasing your proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, with a flexible and helpful approach to collaborating with others
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team, demonstrating your self-motivation and adaptability
  • A conscientious and hardworking nature, combined with a positive "can-do" attitude
  • A valid Driving Licence, enabling you to efficiently move around the resort
  • Physical fitness, ensuring you are able to meet the physical demands of the role

This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, following the departmental rota. Flexibility is essential to cover sickness and annual leave when required, including weekends and bank holidays.
