About This Role
Are you a Van Driver, Valet, Driver/Valeter or someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles in great condition? As a Van Driver/Valet, you will inspect, prepare and clean vehicles to the Dawsongroup standard, with full training provided.
- Clean vehicles inside and out, ensuring they are presented ready for hire.
- Inspect vehicles, record usage and identify cleaning, repair or maintenance requirements.
- Carry out small mechanical tasks, such as replacing mirror glass, with training provided.
- Collect or deliver drivers, documents and parts when required.
- Keep the yard organised, clean and safe while following health and safety requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail and can work independently while maintaining a consistently high standard. You will need a full, valid UK driving licence, but you do not need to tick every box to be considered, transferable skills, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn matter too.

- A full, valid UK driving licence.
- A careful and organised approach to vehicle inspections, cleaning and general maintenance.
- Previous vehicle cleaning experience would be useful, but is not essential.
- Good communication skills and a professional, courteous approach with customers and colleagues.
- Comfortable carrying out routine cleaning, maintenance and vehicle checks.
