What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Conducting system validation testing and activities under ISO 13485 and IEC 62304
- Developing and executing validation test plans, protocols and reports
- Documenting validation evidence and maintaining validation traceability matrices
- Coordinating with engineering and quality teams on validation strategy and scope
- Identifying and escalating validation issues and deviations
- Supporting regulatory submissions with validation documentation
- Contributing to validation lessons learned and process improvement
What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 2+ years' experience in system validation, quality assurance or testing within regulated environments
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485 (medical device quality management) and IEC 62304 (medical device software lifecycle)
- Experience with Class III medical devices or comparable regulated product development
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Competency in test planning, test execution and defect reporting
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
