Role Description
This is a remote programme role within the Valmont Investment Banking Executive Cohort | Finance & Career Accelerator programme. Interns will engage in structured learning modules focused on investment banking, financial analysis, and career readiness, completing weekly tasks and assignments through virtual platforms. Day-to-day activities include participating in live cohort sessions, preparing for and attending mock interviews, refining CVs and professional profiles, and applying learning to simulated deal and case study exercises. The role involves active collaboration with mentors, cohort peers, and career advisors to build technical knowledge, professional communication skills, and interview readiness. Fellows are expected to manage their schedules responsibly, meet deadlines, and contribute thoughtfully to discussions and group projects throughout the programme.

- Demonstrated interest in finance, investment banking, or related fields, with basic understanding of financial markets and corporate finance concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with quantitative work, research, and structured case study analysis.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate in a virtual group setting.
- High level of motivation, professionalism, and coachability, including openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with digital tools for remote work (e.g., Microsoft Teams, online learning platforms) and reliable access to a computer and internet connection.
- Current student or recent graduate in a relevant discipline only (such as Finance, Economics, Business, or related field) is preferred, but applicants from diverse academic backgrounds with strong interest in finance are welcome.
- Ability to manage time effectively, balance multiple tasks, and meet programme deadlines in a structured remote environment.
