The Valmont Investment Banking Executive Cohort | Finance & Career Accelerator is a remote internship program designed for individuals pursuing a career in investment banking or finance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Participating in live virtual training sessions
- Completing structured upskilling tasks
- Engaging in group discussions and case studies related to financial markets, transactions, and career strategy
Interns will refine CVs and professional profiles, prepare for interviews through mock sessions, and receive guidance on networking, application planning, and role targeting within investment banking and related finance sectors. Participants are expected to take part in weekly cohort meetings, collaborate with peers, and apply feedback from mentors to accelerate their readiness for front-office and related financial positions.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in investment banking, finance, or related analytical roles, with a basic understanding of financial concepts and markets.
- Ability to commit to scheduled live virtual sessions, complete assigned cohort tasks, and engage actively in collaborative discussions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette and clear presentation of ideas.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to balance cohort activities alongside academic or other commitments.
- Comfort working remotely using tools such as Microsoft Teams and online learning platforms, with reliable internet access.
- Currently a student or recent graduate in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline; candidates from other fields with strong motivation are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated curiosity, resilience, and willingness to receive and implement constructive feedback to improve performance.
