WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS ROLE?
This role is essentially to lead commercial/mixed asset valuation for London reporting into the overall national head of valuation. You will be responsible for a variety of commercial valuations across London and Greater London. Covering a variety of asset classes, but typically offices, retail and industrial buildings/units working with banks, private and corporate clients, and professional contacts. Ideally you will have experience of residential development valuation however this is not essential.
Your main mandate will be to aid the growth of the business unit through fee earning, business development but also helping to mentor a small team. The national valuation team has around 15 fee earners with London being a small portion of this.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
- Understanding of commercial property Valuation, ideally for loan security and balance sheet purposes.
- Ideally understanding residential and development valuation.
- Track record and knowledge of undertaking Commercial Property Valuations and Valuation Appraisals, including the use of KEL and Argus (or similar) valuation software
- Mentoring capability and leadership qualities
- A track record of (wanting to) developing new business
