The client
This is an excellent 1-year Fixed term opportunity within a forward-thinking public sector organisation seeking a qualified Valuation / Residential Surveyor to join its established property team and to manage valuation of a diverse high value property portfolio.
The role - Valuation / Residential Surveyor
As a Valuation Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing and managing detailed valuation reports, in accordance with RICS standards and guidelines on a broad range of high value properties.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analysing market data, comparable sales, and local trends to inform accurate valuations
- Carrying out residential property inspections and condition assessments.
- Producing valuation reports, property appraisals and feasibility studies
- Maintaining organised records of property inspections, reports and all associated internal and external communications
- Producing clear, accurate and RICS compliant reports
- Prioritise and manage daily workload

MRICS qualified, you will direct experience as a Valuation or Residential Surveyor managing all elements of property valuation and including development and preparation of all associated reports and paperwork. You will have direct experience in inspecting and valuing residential property and assets. Possessing excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, you will have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines. Previous experience working within a public sector environment, or a strong understanding of local authority property functions would be a distinct advantage.
