Yolk Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing estate agency in Cardiff to recruit an ambitious Valuer to join their residential sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional who enjoys winning instructions, building strong client relationships, and driving sales from valuation through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the sales portfolio while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Valuer, you'll be responsible for generating new instructions, conducting accurate property valuations, and supporting vendors throughout their sales journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting residential property valuations and converting opportunities into new instructions.
  • Achieving individual and team revenue, instruction, and completion targets.
  • Building trusted relationships with vendors from instruction through to completion.
  • Ensuring properties are prepared and launched to market within agreed service levels.
  • Managing your diary effectively, balancing appointments with administration and follow-up activity.
  • Negotiating offers and ensuring all activity is accurately recorded on the CRM system.
  • Maintaining regular communication with vendors throughout the sales process.
  • Proactively generating new business through outbound calling and database management.
  • Working closely with colleagues across sales and financial services to maximise customer opportunities.
  • Supporting colleagues with viewings and diary cover during annual leave or sickness where required.

We're looking for someone who combines strong sales ability with excellent customer service and a genuine passion for property.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Valuer, Senior Negotiator, or Residential Sales Negotiator within estate agency.
  • A proven track record of winning instructions and delivering against sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using estate agency CRM systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy diary.
  • Confidence working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for appointments.
