I’m really pleased to be partnering exclusively with Terracotta Property on a fantastic new opportunity within their growing London team. Terracotta Property is a dynamic, independent property consultancy made up of Chartered Surveyors, with a strong reputation across the London property market. Established in 2019, they offer a personal, hands-on approach and work across valuation, building surveying, project management and party wall matters.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Valuation Surveyor to undertake a broad range of valuation instructions across North London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment and wants greater exposure to clients, senior decision-makers and a varied valuation workload.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, technically robust valuation advice while developing strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
