We're looking for a Valuations Analyst to join a high-performing multi-strategy asset manager supporting a significant and complex investment portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in asset valuations across illiquid equity and credit interests, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic investment reporting.

- Perform and oversee quarterly valuations of illiquid equity and credit assets.
- Prepare and review valuation reports and Fair Value Committee (FVC) papers.
- Analyse business plans, cash flow models and provide robust valuation opinions.
- Coordinate with external valuation advisers and challenge assumptions where needed.
- Present findings to senior stakeholders and FVC, offering subject matter expertise.
- Lead on valuation-related projects and deep-dive asset analyses.
- Enhance processes, implement controls, and contribute to audit and risk reviews.
Your background:
- A professional qualification (ACA, CFA or equivalent).
- Proven experience valuing illiquid equity and credit assets.
- Exceptional Excel and financial modelling skills, including forecast models.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills, especially for senior audiences.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and drive improvements.
- Bonus: Exposure to CLOs, OTC derivatives, and property valuation techniques.

Salary in the region of £75-85,000 base plus bonus and benefits. Hybrid working - Central London location.
