Description
- Lead and support on business valuations for tax purposes, including share schemes, restructuring and transactions
- Provide technical tax support on valuation-related matters such as IHT, CGT and employee incentives
- Manage client relationships, acting as a key contact on valuation and advisory engagements
- Review valuation models and reports prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Work closely with senior stakeholders on transactions, due diligence and structuring projects
- Assist in preparing detailed and defensible valuation reports for HMRC and other stakeholders
- Contribute to business development through identifying opportunities and supporting proposals
- Stay up to date with relevant tax legislation and valuation methodologies
Profile
- Experience in or an understanding of preparing valuations for various purposes, including tax-advantaged option plans, employment-related securities, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and corporate reorganisations.
- A commercial outlook and understanding of how different businesses operate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of dealing directly with clients and intermediaries.
- CTA and / or ACA qualified (preferred although not essential).
