SJC Partners are working with a boutique advisory firm to recruit an experienced Valuations Manager to join their London team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong valuation professional to join a specialist, entrepreneurial environment and gain exposure to a varied portfolio of valuation assignments. For the right individual, there is a strong opportunity for the role to become permanent following the initial 6-month contract, subject to performance and business requirements.
The Role
Working closely with senior members of the team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of valuation assignments, providing high-quality analysis and insight to clients and senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing valuation assignments from initial scoping through to completion
- Preparing and reviewing detailed valuation models and reports
- Undertaking DCF, market approach and other valuation methodologies
- Performing financial, commercial and market analysis
- Reviewing financial information and assessing key valuation assumptions
- Presenting valuation conclusions and analysis to clients and senior stakeholders
- Managing multiple assignments and competing deadlines
- Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work
- Contributing to the continued development of the valuation practice

Candidates will have:
- Strong experience in business and financial valuations, ideally gained within a leading professional services, advisory or corporate finance firm
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
- Experience with DCF and market-based valuation methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage assignments independently
- Confidence working with clients and senior stakeholders
- A commercial, analytical and detail-oriented approach
- ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous
