If you can demonstrate extensive experience of managing High Value Residential Valuations, business portfolio strategies, and excellent stakeholder management skills, we’d like to hear from you.
As the Valuation Specialist Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing and assuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of property valuations for high value and bespoke valuations produced for the Coutts & Co Private Bank.
You'll ensure that valuation reports meet regulatory standards, internal policies, and reflect true market conditions, whilst also providing expert insight into business, supporting client conversations where appropriate, and leading on policy and guidance changes related to the valuation process.
You'll work from home some of the time, but you'll also spend at least one day a week working from the 440 Strand office.
What you’ll do
As a Valuations Specialist, you’ll be working with your team on sector management activities and our business portfolio. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
